Many years ago I purchased a
1952 Willys
and started building it into a rock crawler. Over the years I took it
on many Jeep runs, including Rubicon, Hell Hole, Barret Lake, Fordyce
Creek, Deer Valley, putting in thousands of dollars and many hours of
labor building, upgrading, and re-building. It served me well.
In 1997, I saw my first TJ on the Rubicon trail. It was almost stock
and I was amazed. I really think the TJ has revitalized Jeeping again.
I now have a TJ of my own with many state of the art rock crawling
accessories, as listed below. I will update this site
with more pictures and stories, as I'm able.

Vintage Rubicon Trail Jeepers Jamboree
Footage from the 16th Jeepers Jamboree on the Rubicon Trail 1968. Look what these guys did with almost stock vehicles, with no lifts, oversize tires, or roll bars. Also note how many people they packed into the Jeeps for fun rather than 2 tons of camp gear like we do today. |
